Eskalera
Designed for retention. 63% weekly return rate. 35% attrition reduction.

Most DEI tools die after the first login. Employees open them once, feel lectured at, and never return. Eskalera was different but only if the experience felt personal enough to compete with everything else fighting for attention at work. I owned the session UX and core interaction model end to end with no existing patterns to inherit, no design system to pull from. The core design problem was behavioral: how do you make a workplace tool feel worth returning to when nobody is making you? The product reached a 63% weekly return rate and a 4.7/5 satisfaction score. More importantly, it contributed to a 35% reduction in employee attrition, the one metric the business was actually built to move. The interaction patterns and design system I built scaled across the full platform after launch.
Diego artfully balanced technical effort and product goals. I've seen trade-off discussions get contentious, but Diego always managed them with patience, grace, and expertise
