Designing a DEI tool that feels human, not another HR task.
Most DEI and well-being tools get ignored. They feel generic, impersonal, and more like a chore than something helpful. Eskalera wanted to change that.
I led the design of a self-coaching tool built to feel personal and easy to use. Each session was short (5 minutes or less), clear, and focused on one small action. We made sure it felt like a real conversation instead of a form.
I worked closely with co-founder and project manager to build a system that could adapt to each user, keep tone friendly and human, and simple flows with just what you need, when you need it
Instead of checking a box, we helped people reflect, grow, and take real steps forward.
